They start the day at the southern end of the Greenmount car park. You can not miss their big red truck with Learn to Surf on it. Walkin' On Water is the only licensed surf school in the Coolangatta area and accepted onto the International Surfing School Registry, the International World Governing Body of Surfing.
Walkin' On Water provide surf lessons for all standards of surfers twelve months of the year. Their group lesson normally last two hours and the instructor will be in the water to help you learn and assist. There is step by step demonstrations and explanations to get you up and surfing quickly. All beginner surf lessons include a board, wet suit or rash suit and sun cream. Soft boards are used as these are easier to balance, paddle and stand but also safer. Next is the Surfer Improvement Surf Lessons for those who have some ability already. Walkin' On Water caters for all age groups and is is never too late to learn to surf. The instructors will ensure you have some fun while doing this.
Walk On Water also offers high performance coaching for those that wish to fine tune their skills. Video analysis can enhance your ability as you get to see just what you are doing and how to improve. There is weekly sessions or you can have private lessons at a time to suit you. These private lessons can be focused on the video analysis and a DVD with a slowed up footage to enable to view later will be provided. Notes and feedback will then also be given to help you focus on improving your skills.
