Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary was established nearly 60 years ago. It has developed into a world leader in the display and preservation of Australia`s wildlife and natural heritage. With hundreds of animals and birds the sanctuary is home to one of the largest collections of Australian native wildlife in the world.
At Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary the lorikeets remain to be a hallmark attraction. Visitors can get close to many Australian`s most amazing wildlife species.
Off course every wildlife zoo has a feeding time and you are able to have close encounters with the birds and some of the animals.
Opening Hours ; 8-00am - 5-00pm 7 Days a week, except Christmas Day
On Anzac Day 25th April, 1.30pm - 5.00pm
From the North; follow the Gold Coast Hwy to Currumbin. Follow the Hwy over the Curumbin Bridge and onto Currumbin Hill. At the bottom of the hill turn left at the lights into Tomewin Street.
Travelling by bus; Surfside buslines have a drop off and pick up zone, less than a minute walk from the entrance to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
The 700, 760, 765 bus arrives and departs every 20 minutes.
