Brad Homes Surf Coaching has been operating since 1992. You can learn to surf or simply improve your ability. Brad Holmes also teaches SUP (Stand Up Paddle) ideal for calm water exercise and fun.
He provides personalised coaching to individuals or groups. And while doing this he makes it fun while sharing his wealth of knowledge about the sea and surfing. Brad can have you standing up in the first lesson and in 3 to 5 lessons you could be a competent surfer depending on individual skills and surf conditions. Lesson are usually early morning when there is less wind at the Broadbeach Surf Life Saving Club. However Brad does work at other beaches too. Beginers start on a soft safety board before progressing to hard board. If you don't have a board Gold Coast Surfboards can come to the rescue. They have a range of boards that you can hire from them with good rates.
Brad has been surfing the Gold Coast for most of his life and is an ASI Trainer. He is qualified to train surf coaches as he has completed the Association of Surf Instructors Train the Trainer. What this means for you is that you are getting a very qualified guy to teach you all about surfing, who can read the conditions ensuring you are safe, and provide expert coaching to ensure you are surfing quicker.
bradholmessurfcoaching has also introduced the art of Stand Up Paddle Surfing. This orginates from the waters of Hawai. Brad will start you off in a safe still water environment at Budds Beach on River Drive Surfers Paradise, so that you can learn your stance and get a feel for the board before enjoying this great on water fun.
