The Bathhouse At Ground

The Bathhouse at Ground is a dedicated wellness venue at 2 Village Way in Currumbin Valley, offering a combination of hydrotherapy, sauna facilities, cold bathing and spa treatments. Located within the Ground Currumbin site, it provides a setting for relaxation and restorative bathing rather than a dining experience. The venue is suited to adults seeking a structured spa session, a quiet pause or a treatment-based visit on the Gold Coast.

The bathing area includes mineral-enriched hydrotherapy spas, a plunge pool and a traditional cedar hot tub. A therapeutic cold bath provides a cooler contrast to the warm-water facilities, while the sauna options include a large wood-fired hot stone sauna and an outdoor infrared sauna. Together, the facilities create a sequence of warm, cold and heat-based experiences, with space for guests to unwind at an unhurried pace.

Spa treatments form a separate part of the offering. The treatment menu includes bespoke facials using all-natural skincare and signature massages focused on relaxation. These treatments complement the bathing facilities and allow the venue to work as either a soak-focused visit or a more complete spa appointment.

The Bathhouse reception is positioned inside Ground Grocer, on the ground floor of the old Queenslander. Check-in takes place at the front counter before guests are guided through to the bathhouse or treatment area. The setting combines the character of an older Queenslander building with indoor and outdoor wellness facilities, while the overall atmosphere is centred on calm, heat therapy and recovery.

The venue has an adults-focused access policy. Guests must be 18 or older, with an exception for two people aged 16 or older when accompanied by an adult. Bathhouse and treatment bookings are subject to venue terms, and changes or cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Guests are asked to bring two towels, swimwear and a water bottle, and to maintain hydration before, during and after a session.
