Healing Hands by Marilia Costa

Healing Hands by Marilia Costa is a wellness clinic at Unit 3/33 Bay Street in Tweed Heads, offering bodywork and holistic treatments focused on physical ease, recovery and a sense of balance. The clinic suits visitors seeking a dedicated treatment session rather than a dining or social venue, with services shaped around massage, energy work and heat or cold therapies.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage is the clinic’s signature offering. The treatment is designed to support lymphatic flow, reduce the sensation of swelling, and create a lighter, more sculpted feeling in the body. It is presented as a specialised form of bodywork with a focus on wellness, vitality and overall health.

The massage menu also includes remedial, deep tissue and relaxation treatments. Remedial massage is tailored towards tension, mobility and the body’s natural recovery process, while deep tissue work focuses on more persistent muscular tightness. Relaxation massage takes a gentler approach, intended to settle the nervous system and ease everyday stress. A scrub massage adds exfoliation to the treatment experience, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and smooth.

Further options extend beyond massage. Infrared sauna sessions are offered as a heat-based wellness treatment associated with relaxation and cellular support, while cold plunge therapy is intended to invigorate circulation and reduce inflammation. Reiki and Access Bars provide energy-focused alternatives, with Reiki centred on energetic balance and Access Bars intended to promote mental clarity and ease.

The atmosphere is nurturing and treatment-led, with an emphasis on personalised care and inner balance. The clinic also provides professional workshops in Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage. These sessions combine hands-on technique, therapeutic knowledge and energetic awareness, making the space relevant to practitioners looking to develop their bodywork skills as well as to clients seeking a wellness appointment.

For Gold Coast visitors, the Tweed Heads location provides a nearby option for a structured massage or holistic treatment session. The clinic’s range allows appointments to be selected according to the intended focus, from muscular tension and relaxation to lymphatic drainage, skin exfoliation, heat, cold or energy work. Advance booking is appropriate for anyone seeking a particular treatment or workshop.
