Located 500 metres from the Fig Tree roundabout on Gallery Walk, the Tamborine Mountain Heritage Centre is dedicated to the preservation and display of the pioneer history of Tamborine Mountain.
The Museum houses examples of the various industries which have been carried out on the mountain.
One of the first churches to be erected on the mountain has been relocated withing the Centre's grounds.
The displays are housed in the Machinery Hall, Dairy, Blacksmith Shop, General Store, Slab Cottage and Pioneen Hall which also includes a Fashion House where items of clothing spanning over a centruy are displayed.
Tours and school tours can be arranged by contacting the Centre.
