Begin with an audio/visual presentation at the Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre introducing Aboriginal history and culture. Then take a guided walk around Dreaming Mountain (Jellurgal), a culturally significant site important to the local Yugambeh people.

Hear Dreaming stories explaining the creation of Jellurgal, learn about traditional practices including bush tucker, fishing, and hunting, and discover ecological knowledge and connection to the land maintained for thousands of years.

The entire experience lasts approximately 2 hours but may vary depending on participants' physical abilities.

Trail Details

The Oceanview track follows a 1.2km one-way coastal route from Tallebudgera Creek to Burleigh Point. It is a Grade 2 walk featuring hardened surfaces, gentle hills, and occasional steps. No prior bushwalking experience is needed. The track allows wheelchair-assisted and pram-assisted access.
