Description

Start your tour in Biggera Waters, where you’ll meet your guides, get equipped, and receive a safety briefing with paddling instructions. No prior experience is needed, making this tour beginner-friendly and open to all.

Paddle through the Broadwater’s estuarine waters, passing sandbanks, mangroves, and spotting marine life like stingrays, soldier crabs, and seabirds.

After about 30 minutes, land on Wave Break Island’s northern shore. Take a short bushwalk to the snorkeling site while your guide explains the history of this manmade island. Then snorkel on the rocky reef or relax on the beach as your guide shares marine facts and photographs the group.

Following snorkeling, enjoy a locally sourced snack while taking in views of the water and city skyline. On the return paddle, watch for dolphins and other wildlife that frequently appear.

Return to shore with memories, photos, and a deeper appreciation of the Gold Coast’s natural environment.

• The Broadwater is a dynamic estuary; visibility and marine life vary with tides and conditions
• Fitness level: Moderate. Morning tours are gentler; afternoons may be windier and more demanding
• Life jackets (PFDs) are mandatory; you don’t need to be a strong swimmer but must be comfortable in water with a PFD
• Non-swimmers are welcome
• Ages 4 and up; under 16s require adult supervision
• All guests must sign a waiver; under 18s require a parent or guardian signature
