Description
The Goondawanna Rainforests are a short drive from Gold Coast beaches. This small group tour provides a personalized experience with door-to-door service from select central Gold Coast locations.
Visit Natural Arch waterfall with a fully guided walk led by an expert local guide. Learn about the unique rainforest flora and fauna along the way. Inside the basalt cave, observe water cascading through the roof, formed over millions of years.
The tour continues to 'Best of All Lookout,' offering views of northern New South Wales and Mount Warning. The walk passes through one of the few remaining Antarctic Beech forests. Next, visit the nearby platform overlooking Purling Brook Falls.
Enjoy commentary on the area's wildlife and scenery during travel through Numinbah Valley. Depending on weather, stop at Canyon Lookout or Goomoolahra Falls Lookout. On the return trip, kangaroos and pretty-faced wallabies are often seen feeding in cooler parts of the day.
