Broadbeach Cats Sports Club

Broadbeach Cats Sports Club is a community sports venue in Broadbeach Waters, with a bistro, bar, TAB and two balconies arranged across the club. The setting combines everyday club hospitality with facilities for sporting groups, social occasions and organised events on the Gold Coast.

The bistro provides a casual dining option within the club, while the bar offers a place for guests to gather around meals, drinks or sporting activities. The TAB forms part of the main venue, adding another feature for visitors seeking a traditional sports club environment. The overall style is practical and social, with the club’s football, cricket and netball connections reflected in the setting.

Broadbeach Cats Sports Club also operates as a function venue for a broad range of occasions. Cocktail-style events can accommodate up to 750 people, making the space suitable for large wakes, sporting events, social gatherings, birthdays and product lunches. Seated functions can cater for up to 180 guests, with two- or three-course menus available for occasions such as sports lunches, formals and awards nights.

Other room layouts support theatre-style events for up to 200 guests and U-shaped arrangements for up to 60. These formats suit product launches, information evenings, comedy events, business networking, workshops and training sessions. The club’s separate areas allow function planning to take account of the style and scale of the event, from a gathering around the bistro and bar to a larger organised occasion.

Broadbeach Cats Sports Club suits guests seeking a straightforward bistro and bar setting, as well as organisations and private groups looking for a sports club venue with flexible event spaces.
