The trip begins with an early(ish) pick-up from your chosen Gold Coast, Tweed, Coolangatta, or Kingscliff hotel. Upon boarding our customised Kiff & Culture van, we cruise through verdant hinterlands towards a scenic working fruit farm. Enhance your energy with a barista-made coffee before beginning a juicy tasting session. As one of the largest fruit plantations on earth, the farm grows over 500 varieties on its sprawling 200-acre plot. Munch on citrusy goodness while learning the growing process and savouring those sweeping hinterland views. Ready to immerse yourself in the Tweed’s burgeoning bohemian scene? Our next stop is a vibrant Murwillimbah arts precinct. But before we peruse each artistic offering, we’ll treat our taste buds to some soft creamy goodness from Tweed’s top cheese supplier. Shall we nibble on camembert or brie? Set in a stunning Art Deco edifice, the precinct is a cool creative haven housing around 28 local artisans, each with an intriguing working studio. Chat with the makers in-person to learn about the artisanal process—feel free to purchase your favourite works. All that art appreciation must have made you peckish. Our trip concludes with a long lazy lunch at Tweed’s top distillery. We’ll chew through a gourmet feast—how does chargrilled octopus with herbed whipped feta and fried capers sound?—while sipping colourful cocktails and admiring gorgeous hinterland views. True booze connoisseurs will adore their award-winning gin and rum selection.
