South Stradbroke Island Campgrounds
Relax, enjoy the peace and be at one with nature camping on South Stradbroke Island.
You can go swimming in calm waters on one side of the island, or hit the surf beach on the other side after walking through natural bushland. If you are there between June and October you might even catch a glimpse of migrating whales.
There are three camping grounds to choose from, Tipplers at the northern end, North Currigee and Currigee at the southern end of the island. The three sites offer a selection of huts to choose from and unpowered camping sites.
You must book before arriving on the island and have all necessary supplies with you.
